How can I add funds to my CiNKO wallet from my local bank account in Costa Rica?

To add funds from Costa Rica, follow these steps in the app:

  • From the home screen, tap "Add Funds".

  • Select "From a bank".

  • Tap "Local Deposit".

  • Select the country: Costa Rica.

  • Under "Select a bank", choose your preferred currency:

    • Select Bank Transfer - CRC if the funds will be sent from a bank account in Costa Rican colones.

    • Select Bank Transfer - USD if the funds will be sent from a bank account in U.S. dollars.

  • Enter the amount according to the selected currency and complete the required information (first name, last name, email, document type, document number, and notes).

  • Tap "Continue" to create a deposit ticket.

Now click the "Confirm Deposit" link. You can also share it via text message, WhatsApp, or other messaging apps.

Using the information provided in the ticket, complete the transfer by sending the funds to the IBAN account indicated in the instructions.

Important

  • Depending on your bank, you may need to register or whitelist the IBAN account of our banking partner (DLocal Costa Rica, S.R.L.) in your online banking before making the transfer.

  • Even if you have already registered the IBAN account, you must always request a new ticket before sending funds, since each ticket includes a unique reference number and a specific amount.

  • Do not forget to include the description/reference number shown on the ticket, as this identifier is unique for each transfer.

  • For the transfer to be processed correctly, you must send exactly the same amount entered when generating the ticket.

  • Only immediate transfers are accepted.
